OUR VISION
We're here to have community, seek God's presence, and worship him.
We believe everyone should be connected to a community of Jesus' followers because we know that we were not designed to practice our faith alone. Worship is more than a gathering or a service—it’s a lifestyle that changes us to look more like God. We desire everyone to be involved in this kind of life-changing community, serving others with our gifts and talents, giving and living generously, and engaging in friendships that spur us on to look more like Jesus.
Our Mission:
Co-laboring with Jesus Christ to establish and maintain a fellowship devoted to seeking the Presence of God the Father; announcing the kingdom of His Son, Jesus Christ; and advancing the gospel through the power of the Holy Spirit.
"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." (Ephesians 4:11-12)
OUR VALUES
BIBLICAL TRUTH
All that we believe and do is rooted in the Bible. We believe in the divine inspiration, truthfulness and authority of both the Old and New Testament Scriptures in their entirety as the only written Word of God. We believe that the scriptures are without error and represent the only infallible rule of faith and practice for all of mankind. We believe that the bible has been miraculously preserved down through the ages and today represents a more than sufficient transmission of the original manuscripts. Finally, we believe the Bible to be unchangeable in its central purpose of recording God’s interaction with man and revealing and exalting the life and ministry the Lord Jesus Christ.
PASSIONATE PRAISE AND WORSHIP
We believe in giving God the glory He deserves through expressive praise and worship.
SPIRITUAL GIFTS
Our love of God compels us to seek His Presence and direction as our highest value. We are dedicated to the cultivation of a prophetic culture that announces the Presence of God, deliverance, speaking in tongues, and healing in all ministry efforts as we “earnestly desire all the spiritual gifts” (1 Corinthians 14:1).
PRAYER
Seeking God in prayer is the furnace that fires every ministry we pursue. In light of the priority of prayer demonstrated by Jesus, prayer is our highest ministry priority.
THE GREAT COMMISSION
We believe all Christians are called to the same mission – the Great Commission of Jesus. This includes the proclaiming of the gospel (Mark 16:15) and the making of disciples (Matthew 28:18-20). We believe we must be intentional to fulfill this in our community (Jerusalem), our region (Judea), across cultural lines (Samaria), and internationally (the ends of the earth) – Acts 1:8. We are committed to serving the Lord within our local church, our community, our region, our country, and even the ends of the earth. We are especially mindful to care “for the least of these (Matthew 25:40).
FELLOWSHIP
We value the local Church as the exclusive instrument in the earth to advance the Kingdom of God and overcome Satan’s scheme to keep people blinded to the gospel. Our pursuit of this value manifests in our commitment to continually minister to the practical and spiritual needs of our church family. Our ultimate goal is that everyone become a mature follower of Jesus Christ.
EXCELLENCE
Excellence - Everything our hands find to do, we do it as unto God. This is not for show but as an act of worship. "And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, 10 so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ..." (Philippians 1:9-10) "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." (Philippians 4:8)
HONOR
This is the life source of everything we do, as a response to God and who we are to one another. We are mindful to honor each other as we realize that we are all created by him and for him. Honor is shown in how we act, think, and speak to one another.
